It’s my birthday today and the stock market has granted me a new all time high as a surprise gift.

In truth,
it is my birthday and my wife is bringing me out for dinner,
so I am keeping this update short and sweet tonight.
Tomorrow is another day and I will pick up as normal tomorrow night.
I don’t have much to say about a new high in wave (B) of the greatest bubble of all time.
What can one say of a delusional market devoid of all self knowledge.
it is what it is.
Wave (B) remains in control for the moment.
And last weeks false start is just that,
a taste of what should come.
Ok,
Here are tonights charts with a comment on each one.
And tonight I am going to enjoy a dinner I won’t have to cook for once!

EURUSD.

EURUSD 1hr.

EURUSD 4hr.

EURUSD daily.

I switched to the alternate count tonight and this weeks high is now labelled wave (iv) of [c] of ‘2’.
The price dropped off sharply in wave ‘i’ of (v) and this wave should continue lower to break 1.0690.

GBPUSD

GBPUSD 1hr.

GBPUSD 4hr.

GBPUSD daily.

Three waves up in wave ‘ii’ has completed at the trend channel line today.
And now we have a sharp move lower to begin wave ‘iii’.
Wave ‘iii’ of (iii) should now take over and continue lower to break 1.2353 at a minimum.

USDJPY.

USDJPY 1hr.

USDJPY 4hr.

USDJPY daily.

I have switched to a possible triangle pattern for wave (iv) of [iii] tonight.
the progress into wave (v) has not arrived this week,
and that has forced a rethink.
Todays low may have completed this triangle,
so watch for wave (v) to turn higher tomorrow and break above 150.88 as shown.

DOW JONES.

DOW 1hr.

DOW 4hr

DOW daily.

I am working on a new idea for wave [v] after todays break to a new high.
There is a possible expanding wedge in wave [v] in play here after a rise in three waves into this new high.
The 4hr chart shows the price now tagging the upper channel line again this evening.
Wave [v] of ‘C’ of (B) is holding onto the market and I await for the time when it loosens its grip for good.

GOLD

GOLD 1hr.

GOLD 4hr.

GOLD daily.

Gold has spent the day holding flat after a small bounce yesterday.
I would like to see a little more downside from wave ‘2’ to be honest.
A second wave should reverse at least 50% of the gains in wave ‘1’.
So I will give this wave ‘2’ count another day to see if we can build a better higher low to begin wave ‘c’.

CRUDE OIL.

CRUDE OIL 1hr.

CRUDE OIL daily.

Crude oil is holding below the highs at 79.22 again today and the wave count for wave (v) remains unfinished.
the upper channel line should be hit as wave (v) closes out,
so lets see if the market will give us that much at least before closing out this pattern in wave [c] of ‘2’.

S&P 500.

S&P 500 4hr

S&P 500 daily.

A new high in the S&P along with a rally in NVDA.
the story of that meme stock is just astounding.
and how it is managing to carry the market to new all time highs is also astounding.
What can you say when a stock doubles in less than 6 months.
Anyway,
I have not made up my mind on the internal count for wave (v) of [v] after this weeks new highs.
I am going to let the market reveal more tomorrow to see what emerges.
It would be very interesting to see the market give up the gains into the highs very quickly.
But,
lets see what happens tomorrow.

SILVER.

SILVER daily.

Silver has actually traced out three waves down off that wave (iv) high.
And now I have changed the count to reflect that pattern.
Wave ‘a’ pink should complete three waves down early next week.
And the rest of wave (v) will take at least another week to complete at this pace.
So watch for wave ‘a’ of (v) to continue tomorrow and fall into the 22.30 area.
