I wanted to give you a heads up on some changes EU banking law which affects credit card payments.
From the 13th of September on wards, the EU is mandating that Credit card payments, including recurring payments use two factor authentication.
This means receiving a pin code and authorizing your bank to make the payment before the payment goes through.
I do not have this implemented on my site yet, I am still waiting on a fix from the developer.
As some of you fine folks signed up to bullwaves.org using your credit card using the old method, your bank may now refuse to process the payment after September 13th when the regulation comes into force.
And as a result,
the payment software may cancel your profile automatically after a period of time, usually about a week.
I am more or less helpless to do anything until it all works itself out over time.
So I have come to a decision to ease the pain as it were!
I will send the nightly analysis to everyone affected after the change comes into force.
And when the fix comes in from the developer I will create a new sign up page to update your payment details.
This should fix the issue for the people affected.
In addition to this I will be reducing the price of the service to all members this month and into the future.
The new price will be $29.00 per mth for full access, and all members will be able to avail of the reduced price going forward.
I hope this doesn't confuse you as much as it has me over the last few months!
